FROM THE
STREETS OF INDIA
Amidst the 2020 pandemic, Natalie Vazquez, fostered a street dog from Kolkata, India. Kira, formally known as Kiran, meaning Ray of Light in Hindi, resided at a local rescue in Pittsburgh, PA. Prior to her arrival to the States, non-profit rescue organization, Stray Dog Support Inc. provided her with all the love and medical needs necessary.
Not long after fostering, Natalie adopted Kira which naturally redirected her focus and enlightened her to the world of rescue dogs locally and globally. With the support from her family, they saw an opportunity to help. As a family ran business, the decision to make all-natural candles roots from the underlining meaning of Kira's name which led to the creation of Halo Luminary Candle Co.
